Am I Making You Uncomfortable? was a women's health podcast from HuffPost UK — frank, inclusive and taboo-busting. Over two series, we tackled the topics women aren't supposed to talk about: the realities of childbirth, body hair and gender identity, gut health, sexless relationships, fertility and friendship, Black maternal mortality and the policing of angry women.
I commissioned and co-hosted the series alongside Rachel Moss, producing all supporting content including articles, show notes, newsletters and social posts. Guests included gut health specialist Dr Megan Rossi, activist and performer Kelechi Okafor, disability activist Shani Dhanda, sex educator Ruby Rare, and Clotilde Rebecca Abe of the Five x More project — which campaigns on the fact that Black women are five times more likely to die in childbirth.
The series reached 600K+ listens across 30 episodes, with series two doubling the listens of series one — driven by a deliberate multi-channel content strategy across editorial, newsletters, video and social.
